drivel

I know I said an "occasional" journal, but I didn't mean quite this occasional. Ah, well - I didn't intend for it to be chore, either, and I've achieved that goal!

Looking back - the last lot of trip photos didn't turn out. Seems the camera lens was jammed open, so I just got fogged film.

Since then I've started Kung Fu classes (now Kym calls me "grasshopper"). They're Shaolin-style run by a friend of ToTD's and are quite gentle. I've been coping quite well with the classes, but missed a couple of weeks because of other commitments. One of the other commitments was a WEA class in "Understanding Chronic Fatigue Syndrome". That was very useful - I feel much more comfortable about it all now. Being able to help carers of people who are as ill now as I was last year helped me to see how far I've progressed in managing my life. I'm so happy that I've improved so much (but was careful at the course to moderate this when faced with people who are still suffering badly).

I cleaned up my study this week, too. What an understatement that is! I found a bunch of photos that I'd sorted out ages ago for scanning. That's no consolation for anyone who's waiting for a photo-essay, since I haven't done the last four yet! One day I will, though.
